SALAH AL-KHUSUF PRAYER OF THE ECLIPSE OF THE MOON Saturday June 26, 2010 immediately after Salah Isha (10:55pm) At Masjid al-Farooq InshaAllah, there will be a partial eclipse of the moon (khusuf) this Sat Jun26, 2010 starting at approximately 10:17pm and ending at approximately 1am. It is sunnah mu’akkadah to do Salah al-Khusuf (Prayer of the eclipse of the moon). Therefore, we will be having a jama’ah for Salah al-Khusuf at Masjid al-Farooq on Sat Jun26, 2010 immediately after Salah al-Isha (iqama 10:55pm) inshaAllah. The Salah al-Khusuf is expected to last until the end of the khusuf inshaAllah. Although it is sunnah to perform Salah al-Khusuf in congregation, it can also be done individually.
