MUSSALLAH EXPENSES DINNER – SATURDAY MARCH 27TH 2010, AFTER MAGHRIB SALAT By the Grace of Allah SWT, the Shura Council of Masjid Darul Iman is very pleased to report on the Mussallah activities and the future construction of the new Masjid during a dinner on Saturday March 27th after Maghrib salat. Brothers, sisters and families are encouraged to attend – this is your chance to learn about the Mussallah and the future Masjid. Given the level of activity, the Mussallah has approximately $11,000 of fixed monthly operating expenses. These include salaries, rent, utilities such as light, heat, telephone, insurance, maintenance and supplies. We are totally reliant upon the generosity of community members such as yourself to pay for these expenses. We are currently facing a shortage in our Mussallah operations fund. We need to raise funds to pay for operating expenses. We are grateful that we have always received support when requested in the past and humbly request that you donate generously to this fund to help with the Mussallah operation costs. FIQH CLASSES FOR BOTH BROTHERS AND SISTERS EVERY SUNDAY AFTER ZUHAR 6. JUMMAH SALAT ARRANGED FOR BOTH BROTHERS AND SISTERS AT MARKHAM MUSEUM 7. RECREATION FACILTY FOR BOTH BROTHERS AND SISTERS 8. RAMADAN TARAWEEH ARRANGED FOR BOTH BROTHERS AND SISTERS. 9. DAILY IFTAR IN THE HOLLY MONTH OF RAMADAN 10. SPECIAL BIYANS BY WORLD RENOWNED SCHOLARS AT OUR MUSSALLAH 11. FACLITATES DAWAH AND TABLEEGH PROGRAMS Mashallah, we are blessed as the Muslim population growth in Markham is expected to double as indicated by the 2001 and 2006 Canadian censuses. When completed Masjid Darul Iman will Inshallah be a center of excellence providing quality programs in the areas of religion, education and social services for the residents of Markham and vicinity.
