Youth Training Program - February 19 & 20
The IIT invites youths to benefit from the wisdom of Imam Dr. Zijad Delic (popularly referred to as the "People's Imam").Those who attended the IIT's Dec. 24 winter dinner last year may remember Imam Zijad's thoughtful speech on the constructive integration of Muslims in Canada, not to mention his rousing nasheed renditions!
Imam Zijad will be conducting an intensive Youth Training Program on Friday February 19 & Saturday February 20:
Feb. 19, 6 pm - 8 pm (adult session): Muslim Families in the West - criteria for success
Feb. 19, 8:30 pm - 10 pm (youth session): Youth is Strength (first 45 min., followed by introduction of youth initiative by Brother Dawood Zwink)
Feb. 20, 11 am - 1 pm (youth session): Muslim Youth - Identity and Mission
Imam Zijad will also deliver the juma khutbah (topic: In the footsteps of the Prophet in a modern world) on Friday February 19, inshallah.
