Winter Break Program 2009
Welcome to Pickering Islamic Centre’s “Winter Break Program”. This program was designed to allow boys and girls (between the ages of 6 and 12) the opportunity to maximise their winter break.
This initiative will give your children a chance to network with Muslim children their age, and revive their Islamic heritage in a fun and educational environment.
All efforts have been made to ensure that the sessions and material are age appropriate.

Venue
The program will be held at the Pickering Islamic Centre located at 2065 Brock Road N in Pickering, Ontario L1V 2P8.Schedule
This program will run from December 21st to December 31st (Mon-Thurs), 10:00am-2:00pm. The subjects will range from; Daily Mannerisms, The Life of the Prophet (saw), Essential Islamic Beliefs, Islam and Science, Sayings of the Prophet (saw) along with games, crafts and arts. A detailed schedule has been provided below:
Admission and Cost
- Intended Audience: Boys and Girls Ages 6 - 12
- Cost: $55.00 per child (includes all material and lunch on Thursdays) before Friday December 18th 2009.
$65 after December 18th 2009.
